Cristal has become the premium quaff of choice for the hip-hop crowd in the last couple of years, so it should come as no surprise that something as totally bling as a Methuselah–that’s six liters in one enormous, gold-labeled bottle–should sell for an equally enormous price at Sotheby’s auction in Harvest between Sept 11th to 17th; Perfect vintage, very fortunate. The identity of the seller, or at least first owner should be easy to find, since those bottles were numbered and shipped in a cherry wood box with an engraved brass badge stating the number of the bottle ( x/ 2000) and the name of the (first) buyer.
